What to Expect

In case you haven't seen me in action yet, I have a fun yet professional style which will without a doubt put you and your teenage daughter or son at ease. With years of shooting this age group, I’m more than happy chatting all things Tik Tok and Snapchat all day long.

However, before we have even made the booking, we’ll have a Zoom or a face to face meeting whereby I can introduce myself to your kids and show you the beautiful products on offer. We’ll go through the whole experience explaining all your options so you're totally clear on what to expect, what to bring and what will happen throughout all before you arrive. I aim to revive the portrait studio experience and make it memorable, enjoyable and most of all, to collaborate with you to create stunning images that YOU will enjoy for years to come.

Right in the heart of Liverpool, you’ll have a 2-minute walk from parking the car where I’ll be waiting. While you settle in and get familiar, I (and the makeup artist if required) will get straight into a great chat about how the session will play out. We'll discuss outfit changes and choose the props we'll use throughout. Consider the space like one big sleepover party where you can feel relaxed and at home as soon as you arrive!!

I’ll direct the shoot and gently suggest different poses to try and if necessary, you can make any adjustments that feel more comfortable. There’ll be a mix of poses and backdrops all to go with your chosen wardrobe. I hope to capture your personality which I’ll encourage by lots of good chat that will give me natural reactions and expressions. Typically, the session will be no longer than 2 hours.

After your session, within 1-2 weeks, I’ll present you with 20 beautiful images. You are then free to choose from any of the packages we’ll talk about at the consultation and select any products or choose the number of digital files if that’s all you would like at that time. All my products have been sourced from the finest vendors in the portrait business which will leave you in awe and desire!!

I’ve put together a variation of bundles that will suit your budget and needs. I can also offer a payment schedule if that suits you better, however, the images will not be available until the full amount has been paid.

Everything else is all worked out on the day. I cannot stress enough how much fun the session is and I really hope you are already getting excited. I’ll never let you down and we will work through everything together. This is your special day and I am just here to guide you along the way.

FAQ

• How much does it cost?

There is a non-refundable booking fee of £50 to secure your experience. However, if you’d like a makeup artist to attend your shoot, additional costs will be added at the time of booking. After the shoot, you only buy what you love. I have various products which have all been beautifully reproduced to a high standard. You can choose between wall art, albums and fine art prints to create with your images too. We can look at these on the day or before you book in.

• Where are you based?

We are based in Liverpool. There is easy parking a short walk away and even closer at the weekend.

• Do you retouch our images?

Yes, I do. I take great care making sure I match your skin tones and adjust the raw images which are typical when shooting with professional equipment. I will also add a slight filter to smooth out any blemishes!!!

• What happens if we have to cancel at the last minute?

I am always happy to reschedule at no extra cost. We just need to find an alternative date that is convenient for us both.

• I don't know how to pose, how will that work?

I take great pleasure in making sure everyone feels empowered in my studio. Although I’ll direct you throughout the session, together we’ll work on what feels authentic and comfortable. The session is relaxed and engaging. I'd like to think that my nature is super fun and I’m told that my energy is infectious!!! I have over ten years of experience working with people of all ages and I've never had anyone feel uneasy yet.

• Can you provide a hair and makeup artist?

I sure can. I know plenty of gorgeous girls that are available to create your perfect look. I’ll send you a selection of Instagram accounts for you to see and we will choose them upon their availability. Please make sure your nails are either clean and tidy without polish or freshly painted nails as I won’t be able to retouch later.
